"Hospice Orillia's volunteer program really helped our family at a difficult time. The volunteer who visited allowed me to have a much needed break from my caregiving responsibilities, making it possible for us to keep my mom at home through her illness. This was a real gift to her, and to us."

"The Bereavement Support group at Hospice Orillia has been immensely helpful to me. In the aftermath of a profound personal loss, it provided a safe environment for me to talk about my feelings without fear of judgement. The facilitators were compassionate, understanding and well informed. My needs were consistently honoured and I felt comfort and inspiration from witnessing the stories of others. I am very grateful for the experience."
